One of my grandma’s recipes I converted to the crock pot!
Cooks 6 to 8 hours on LOW; serves 4 to 5.
What you’ll need:
2 Cornish hens
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup raw, local honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
How to cook them:
1. Rinse Cornish hens and place in crock pot.
2. In small bowl, mix together oil, mustard, honey and salt.
3. Pour mixture over hens.
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, until chicken has reached legal temperature and meat is tender and falling off bone.
5. Serve with rice and peas.
End Result:
Perfect little hens.
