After months of packing, moving and unpacking we have landed in the deep south confronted by a cold front which has left everyone in the house with a hacking cough.

We fed her all winter long but there was no composting going on in -18 degree weather. Our kitchen scraps set frozen in her belly. But the snow has officially melted and the green grass spreads across the yard.
5 months in a compost bin = soil!

We have created soil! I feel like a Jedi-master. (And now that I’ve actually seen the movie, I can say that and MEAN it! That was for you Tim!)
