Cooks quickly and has cheese in it. Any questions?
Cooks 3 and 1/2 to 4 and 1/2 hours on LOW. Serves 6 to 8.
What you’ll need:
1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed—OR you can make them yourself in the crock pot the day before
1 can condensed cream of broccoli soup
1 cup instant rice, white or brown
1 (16 oz.) package of frozen cauliflower, broccoli and carrots
1 cup water
1/2 jar of process cheese dip, or again—made in the crock pot the day before–super easy
How to cook it:
1. Throw the frozen veggies and chick peas in the crock pot.
2. Mix the soup with the rice, cheese dip and water in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
3. Pour mixture over veggies and chick peas and give a little stir.
4. Cover and cook ON LOW 4 and 1/2 hours.
5. Expect compliments.
End Result:
My husband scarfed it down and asked that I send it for his lunch. Biggest compliment, EVER. 🙂
