Now that I’ve tried Chicken BBQ and Beef BBQ in the crock pot, I thought I’d try Pork BBQ. Boy, am I ever glad I did!
Serves 8, cooks 8-12 hours on LOW, depending on crock pot.
What you’ll need:
2 onions
2 cups water
6 whole all-spice balls
14-16 oz. bottle BBQ sauce
4 pound pork loin
How to Cook It:
1. Slice onions.
2. Place one onion in bottom of slow cooker.
3. Add pork, slather with BBQ sauce.
4. Place 2nd onion on top along with all-spice.
5. Cover and cook on LOW 8-12 hours, until tender and pulls apart easily with a fork.
And wah-lah!
End Result:
Tender and juicy. We topped it with BBQ sauce and ate the cooked onions. Served with a side of collard greens, also cooked in the crock pot. Some good southern cookin’ n’ eatin’ that night!
